Mt. Pleasant The charming Town of Mt. Pleasant includes the communities of Valhalla, Hawthorne, Thornwood and Pleasantville. They combine a country feeling with cozy neighborhoods of a small-town environment with impressive sophistication and urban amenities. They are popular places to live and work within the heart of Westchester County.
The area includes large expanses of open space, yet it is less than one hour by train to Manhattan.
