Southeast (Brewster) The Town of Southeast is located in the southern-most portion of Putnam County. It is a superb location for commuters going south into New York or east into Connecticut. The moment you reach the intersection of I-84 and I-684 you are astounded by the beautiful view of hillsides, mountains, and valleys that welcomes you into Southeast. Many communities within the Town have their own lakes offering the surrounding residents vacation living right at home.
